METHODOLOGY

Φ_S (settlement pressure) is the engine's primary signal. It measures unrealized settlement energy accumulating in a specific entity's field — the gap between what the system shows and what is currently priced or regulated. Formula derivation from Kirandeep's Law of Emergence: E = ΔI / A, where ΔI is information differential and A is action cost. Φ_S is the ΔI component measured at entity granularity.

Direction signal is generated at measurement time, before any outcome is known: Φ_S ≥ 8.0 → CRITICAL; ≥ 3.0 → BUILDING; ≥ 0.5 → ELEVATED; < 0.5 → LOW. The prediction window is 30 days.

Accuracy assessment — where a subsequent reading for the same entity exists within the window: if BUILDING/ELEVATED and pressure held or rose → CONFIRMED. If LOW and no subsequent escalation → CONFIRMED_QUIET. Accuracy rate counts confirmed outcomes over all assessable signals (excludes PENDING and infra-scale).

Infrastructure-scale entities (Ethereum, Base, Coinbase) measure total cumulative flow volume — a different dimensional unit from field-level pressure. These are logged but excluded from accuracy calculation.

On-chain verification — system state is periodically committed to Base mainnet via the GeniusFlow Settlement Contract. Each commitment includes a SHA-256 proof hash of the engine state at time of claim.
